About
Weasy’s Lounge & Grille
Since opening the doors in the spring of 2003, Weasy’s Lounge and Grille has become a Northwest Iowa tradition. Owner and head chef, Darin Johnson (Weasy) is a Spencer native, along with his wife Anje and daughter Makenzie. Home to great tasting steaks, burgers, pizzas, sandwiches and the award winning “Weaser Pleaser”. Newly added is “Weasy’s Too”, which features a full-service bar, dining area along with a banquet room, with accommodations of up to 100. Weasy’s Lounge and Grille is located on Grand Avenue in the historic downtown district of Spencer, Iowa.
Weasy’s decor sparks
as much interest as our food does.
The bar side is themed with a history of fastpitch softball from 1975 to 2005. That is thirty years of history on the walls. It is all local memorabilia from local people who still live in Spencer. Don’t be at all surprised if while eating on the bar side you see one of the people in the pictures at the table next to you or seated at the bar. Our restaurant is set for a seating capacity of 132. The bar seats 12, with tables of 4 to seat 28 with 3 televisions for your favorite sporting events.
The front dining area is full of racing memorabilia from local residents of all ages and racing sports. Our front dining area will seat 28 with one table to seat 8 and the remainder for smaller groups of 4.
Our back dining area is a combination of 8 booths seating 32 and 9 tables with 3 set for groups of 8 or 3 set for seating 4 each. We don’t mind moving tables to accommodate groups larger than 8. We will make reservations for your event every night with Friday being our one exception. No reservation on Friday nights.
